Karuppu OTT Platform: Where To Watch Suriya's Film? The National award-winning actor is teaming up with the talented actor-filmmaker, for the latter's next directorial venture. The project, titled Karuppu, marks Suriya's 45th outing in the Tamil film industry. As per the reports, the OTT streaming rights of Karuppu have been sold for a whopping price.

According to the recent reports, the OTT streaming rights of the highly anticipated Suriya starrer have been bagged by the popular platform, Netflix. If the rumours are to be believed, the OTT giant bagged the post-theatrical digital rights of the RJ Balaji directorial, for a whopping price of ₹75 crore. However, the makers have not confirmed these reports officially, yet.

The grapevine suggests that the upcoming action drama film will have its OTT release only by the mid-2026, after it complete the theatrical run. Karuppu is expected to stream on the renowned platform in over five languages, including the Tamil original, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that the satellite rights of the Suriya starrer are sold. As per the latest updates, Zee Tamil, the popular television channel which is currently on a buying spree in the industry, has bagged the post-theatrical satellite broadcasting rights of Karuppu.

Karuppu Release Date, Cast And Crew

Earlier, it was reported that Karuppu will have its worldwide release by the last week of January 2026. However, the Suriya starrer is now reportedly pushed to a new release date, due to the pending post-production works. If things go as planned, the RJ Balaji directorial might have its global release by the second or third week of March 2026.

Suriya is reuniting with popular actress Trisha Krishnan for the film, which is touted to be a action drama with fantasy elements. Malayalam actors Indrans, Sshivada, and Swasika, Yogi Babu, Nattu Subramaniam, and others essay the supporting roles. Sai Abhyankkar composed the music score for Karuppu, which is bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures.
