Kumki 2 OTT Release Date: The musical adventure movie, which is a standalone sequel to director Prabhu Solomon's 2012-released acclaimed film Kumki, hit the theatres in November 2025. Kumki 2 marked the debut of young actor Mathi in leading roles, while Arjun Das and Shrita Rao played the key roles. The Mathi starrer is now gearing up to make its OTT debut, soon.

Kumki 2 OTT Release Date

As per the latest updates, the Prabhu Solomon directorial is now gearing for its OTT release. Kumki 2 is expected to make its OTT debut in the popular streaming platform Amazon Prime Video, in January 2026. The Mathi starrer is gearing to stream on the platform from Saturday, January 3, 2026. If the reports are to be believed, Kumki 2 will stream on the platform only in its original Tamil version.

For the uninitiated, the satellite rights of the Prabhu Solomon directorial have been bagged by the popular television channel, Zee Tamil. Kumki 2 is expected to have its world television premiere, soon after its OTT release. An official announcement on the same is expected to be out very soon.

Kumki 2 Plot, Cast And Crew

Kumki 2 revolves around Bhoomi, a rural boy who rescues and nurtures an elephant calf trapped in a pit. The boy and baby elephant's bond grows over the time and they become inseparable. Bhoomi is left heartbroken when his elephant goes missing mysteriously. Bhoomi who grows up and studies in a college away from his village, later returns home and learns about an elephant roaming in the forest. Bhoomi, who thinks that it is his lost elephant, sets out on a challenging journey to reunite with his long-lost friend.

Along with Mathi, Arjun Das, and Shrita Rao, Kumki 2 features Hareesh Peradi, Suzane George, Srinath, Nadackal Unnikrishnan (elephant), Athu Ithu Ethu Andrews, Florent Pereira, V Thiruselvam, and others in the supporting roles. Nivas K Prasanna composed the music score. M Sukumar handled the cinematography and Buvan handled the editing.
