Love Insurance Company (LIK) Release Postponed Again: Pradeep Ranganathan, the crowd-puller of the Tamil film industry, is going through an excellent phase in his acting career with back-to-back super hits. The young actor-director is teaming up with filmmaker-lyricist Vignesh Shivan, for the latter's new directorial venture Love Insurance Company (LIK). Reportedly, the movie, which was expected to hit the theatres on December 18, 2025, is now postponed to 2026.

If the recent updates are to be believed, the Pradeep Ranganathan starrer is not getting a December 2025 release, as expected earlier. According to the recent updates by trade analyst Amutha Bharathi, the Love Insurance Company team has decided to push the film to February 2026. If things go as planned, LIK will hit the big screens by the second week of February (on 12th or 13th) 2025 as a Valentine's Day special release. An official announcement on the same is expected to be out, very soon.

As reported earlier, director Vignesh Shivan and leading man Pradeep Ranganathan had decided to go ahead with the December 2025 release date initially, even though Love Insurance Company is yet to crack an OTT deal. However, the team decided to push LIK to 2026, in order to avoid a clash with the Hollywood biggie Avatar Fire And Ash, which is slated to be released on December 19, 2025. The team reportedly considered this option, also to maintain a gap between the upcoming sci-fi romantic comedy, and Pradeep's previous release, Dude.

Love Insurance Company Cast And Crew

Pradeep Ranganathan plays the protagonist, who is willing to cross timelines for his lady love Dheema, in the Vignesh Shivan directorial. Krithi Shetty appears as Dheema in the film, which stars actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah as the lead antagonist. Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, Seeman, Shah Ra, Mysskin, Anandaraj, Sunil Reddy, and others essay the supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music score for the film, as well as voiced the character Bro 9000. Love Insurance Company (LIK) is bankrolled by Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio.
