Mask Hit Or Flop? The heist thriller film which stars Kavin in the lead role, has finally hit the theatres on November 21, 2025. The movie, directed by newcomer Vikarnan Ashok, is presented by the celebrated filmmaker, Vetrimaaran. Andrea Jeremiah, the popular actress-singer plays the lead antagonist in the film, as well as co-produced it under her home banner, The Show Must Go On aka TSMGO, in association with Black Madras Films.

Mask Early Audience Verdict Out

After its initial shows, the Vikarnan Ashok directorial has been receiving positive reviews. Especially, Mask has impressed audiences with its black humour and performances. The viewers, who are also praising the film's interval punch and climax twist, suggest that the Kavin starrer is a decent film that has its own impressive moments. However, they still believe that Mask is a film that could have been much better if it had slightly better writing and making.

Mask plot, cast and crew

The Kavin starrer revolves around the central character Velu, an intelligent and witty private detective who has a conflicted morality. However, he is still holding on to a conscience of his own. He soon meets Bhumi, played by Andrea Jeremiah, a famous, kind-hearted philanthropist. However, behind her holy public image, she hides a dark side. Bhumi works closely with Manivannan (Pawan), an ambitious politician who plans to distribute ₹440 crore among the public. However, this large sum is stolen by a masked group.

Along with Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah, the movie, which is scripted by director Vikarnan Ashok himself, features a massive star cast including Ruhani Sharma, Charle, Bala Saravanan, Archana Chandhoke, Pawan, George Maryan, Aadukalam Naren, Subramaniam Siva, Kalloori Vinoth, Munnar Ramesh, and others. GV Prakash Kumar composed the songs and original score for Mask.
