Parasakthi was originally expected to hit the theatres on January 14, 2025, on the special occasion of Thai Pongal. However, the release of the multi-starrer is reportedly getting advanced, and it might clash with Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan at the box office.

According to the recent reports by the trade experts, the release date of Parasakthi is getting advanced. If the reports are to be believed, the makers made a hasty decision to release the Sivakarthikeyan earlier than expected, due to the theatre unavailability at the overseas centers on January 14, 2025, and the subsequent weekend. If the rumours are to be believed, Sudha Kongara's film might release on January 10, 2025, instead.

However, some of the most popular trade analysts of Tamil film industry are claiming that the team has already informed the overseas distributors about this new development, officially.

In that case, Sivakarthikeyan's period political drama will release just a day after Jana Nayagan, the upcoming entertainer which marks Thalapathy Vijay's final outing in films. In that case, it is safe to assume that Parasakthi will lock horns with the H Vinoth directorial, at the box office. However, it is indeed not a good news for both the team, as the screens might get divided between both the films, especially in Tamil Nadu.

Coming to the Parasakthi cast and crew, Sivakarthikeyan plays the protagonist in the film, which stars Ravi Mohan as the lead antagonist. Sreeleela appears as the female lead in the Sudha Kongara directorial, which stars Atharvaa in a pivotal role. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the songs and original score for the movie, which is bankrolled by Dawn Pictures.
