Vaa Vaathiyaar OTT Release: Karthi's Film To Stream On THIS Platform? The highly anticipated Tamil action comedy film, marks filmmaker Nalan Kumarasamy's comeback to the big screens after a long gap of 9 years. Karthi appears as the central character in the film, which is gearing up to hit the big screens on December 12, 2025. As per the reports, the OTT streaming rights of the Vaa Vaathiyaar have been sold.

Vaa Vaathiyaar OTT Platform Revealed

If the recent updates are to be believed, the OTT streaming rights of the upcoming Karthi starrer have been sold for a decent price. Amazon Prime Video, the OTT giant has reportedly bagged the digital rights of Vaa Vaathiyaar, which is unarguably one of the most anticipated upcoming Tamil films. The makers are expected to make an announcement on the film's OTT partner, soon after its release day.

Now, it is safe to assume that Vaa Vaathiyaar will have its OTT release on Amazon Prime Video, around 35 to 40 days after its theatrical release. However, the OTT partner and the makers might adjust this duration, considering the box office performance of the Karthi starrer. The Nalan Kumarasamy directorial is expected to be streamed on the platform in at least 3 languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Vaa Vaathiyaar Cast And Crew

Director Nalan Kumarasamy himself penned the story and screenplay for Vaa Vaathiyar, which stars Karthi in the role of DSP Rameshwaran, a young police officer with a 'filmy' personality. Krithi Shetty appears as the female lead opposite Karthi in Vaa Vaathiyaar, which features Sathyaraj, Raj Kiran, Nizhalgal Ravi, Anandaraj, Shilpa Manjunath, Karunakaran, GM Sundar, Ramesh Thilak, PL Thenappan, Vadivukkarasi, and others in the supporting roles.

Santhosh Narayanan has composed the songs and the original score for Vaa Vaathiyaar. George C Williams is the director of photography. Vetre Krishnan handles the editing of the film. The Karthi starrer is bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja, under the banner Studio Green.
