As per the latest updates, the makers of Ajith Kumar Racing Documentary are planning to release the prestigious project on theatres, on May 1, 2026, on the special occasion of AK's 55th birthday. An official announcement on the same is expected to be out in a couple of weeks.

The OTT rights of the Mankatha star's ambitious project are already bagged by the streaming giant Netflix, for a whopping price. However, Ajith Kumar Racing Documentary will hit the OTT screens only after completing its theatrical run. GV Prakash has reportedly composed the music score for the documentary.

After completing his current racing commitments, Ajith Kumar is expected to kickstart his 64th film, tentatively titled AK 64. As reported earlier, AK is reuniting with Good Bad Ugly director Adhik Ravichandran, and music composer Anirudh for the much-awaited project, which is expected to have its official launch very soon.
