The advance booking collection of Thalapathy Vijay's film suggest that it is going to have a massive box office opening.

Reportedly, the advance booking collection of Jana Nayagan has been setting new records. The Thalapathy Vijay starrer is all set to cross the ₹25 crore mark with its worldwide pre-sales, excluding Tamil Nadu. According to the trade experts, the Kerala advance booking collection of H Vinoth directorial has already crossed the ₹2 crore mark, while the overseas pre-sales stands at ₹18.35 crore.

The Karnataka advance booking collection of the action-packed entertainer has reportedly crossed the ₹3.47 crore mark, according to trade analyst Jerin Georgekutty's recent X post. The total India advance booking collection has now crossed the ₹5.5 crore mark. However, the Tamil Nadu advance booking of Jana Nayagan has not started yet.

For the uninitiated, the Tamil Nadu advance bookings of Jana Nayagan have been delayed due to the issues with the film's censoring. If the recent updates are to be believed, the Thalapathy Vijay starrer's censor certification has been put on hold due to undisclosed reasons. However, the pre-sales of the film will reportedly begin tonight (Sunday, January 4, 2026) or by the Monday (January 5, 2026) morning.
