Jana Nayagan Advance Booking Collections Worldwide: Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up to release his final film before the political entry, this Pongal season. The movie, which marks the crowd-puller's first collaboration with director H Vinoth, is slated to be released on January 9, 2026. Even though the Tamil Nadu advance bookings are not open yet, Jana Nayagan has already crossed ₹33 crore mark with its pre-sales.

The recent updates suggests that Jana Nayagan is all set to create a rampage at the box office, upon its release. The Thalapathy Vijay starrer has been performing extremely well with its Kerala and Overseas advance booking sales, which has totally crossed the ₹33 crore mark. According to trade analyst Jerin Georgekutty's recent X (formerly Twitter) update, the H Vinoth directorial is expected to perform even better during this week, as the Malaysia bookings are also opened now.

The Tamil Nadu advance booking sales of Jana Nayagan have reportedly opened with very limited shows. But it will get to full swing once the Thalapathy Vijay starrer receives its censor certificate. In that case, it is safe to assume that the mass action thriller is going to cross at least the ₹70 crore mark with its advance booking sales, before its release.

Jana Nayagan Plot

The H Vinoth directorial revolves around the lives of Thalapathy Vetri Kondan IPS, a police officer and his foster daughter Viji. Vetri adopts Viji, who is originally the daughter of his friend Srikanth, after the latter's tragic death. The protagonist wants her to join the armed forces, but Viji refuses due to an undisclosed fear.

Jana Nayagan Cast And Crew

Thalapathy Vijay appears as the central character Thalapathy Vetri Kondan in the film, which Mamitha Baiju in the role of Viji. Gautham Vasudev Menon plays the role of Srikanth, while Pooja Hegde appears as Vetri's love interest Kayal. Bobby Deol appears as the lead antagonist, while Prakash Raj, Priya Mani, Narain, Nassar, Sunil, and others play the key roles.

Anirudh Ravichander has composed the songs and the original score for Jana Nayagan. Sathyan Sooryan is the director of photography. Pradeep E Raghav handled the editing for the film, which is produced by KVN Productions.
