Actor-turned-politcian Thalapathy Vijay (Joseph Vijay) is all set to take over the cinemas with his final film 'Jana Nayagan' from tomorrow. Yes, after facing countless back-to-back hurdles, Vijay will return to the big screens for one last time with H. Vinoth's Tamil-language political action drama, Jana Nayagan, releasing tomorrow (July 23).

Co-starring Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Prakash Raj among others in crucial roles, the excitement around the Tamil biggie is at an all-time high.
Jana Nayagan has already taken the advance booking by storm, with the majority coming from the Tamil market, as expected. With only a day remaining for the big day, Jana Nayagan has already sold over 7.3 lakh tickets in TN, grossing around Rs 16.73 cr (as of now). Overall, with the block seats, the gross earnings are estimated to be around Rs 22.85 cr in India.

Not just in India, Thalapathy Vijay's final movie is making a lot of buzz in the overseas market as well. As stated by trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Jana Nayagan's global pre-sales collection is now said to be around Rs 15 cr.
According to a report by Business Standard, Ramesh Bala predicts that Jana Nayagan is likely to have a solid Rs 90 cr opening worldwide on the day of its release.
"For opening day, I expect something between ₹75 to ₹100 crore worldwide. Because movies like 'Leo' have done ₹150 crore, but this will not do those numbers. I hope it will do somewhere in the ₹100 crore range," Bala stated in an interview with Variety India.
