The recent updates by industry trackers Movies Tamil's X page suggest that Jana Nayagan's total budget is around ₹380 crore. In that case, the H Vinoth directorial is clearly one of the costliest projects ever made in Tamil cinema.

As per the latest reports, Thalapathy Vijay, as always, is the highest paid member of the Jana Nayagan cast. The crowd-puller of Tamil cinema has taken home a massive pay check of ₹220 crore, for his part in the mass action entertainer. Director H Vinoth, on the other hand, has reportedly charged ₹25 crore to helm the big budget venture.

Anirudh Ravichander, the music director is the third highest-paid member of the Jana Nayagan team. The popular musician has reportedly charged ₹13 crore for the Thalapathy Vijay starrer. Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, who plays the lead antagonist, and leading lady Pooja Hegde have charged ₹3 crore each, for the film. Mamitha Baiju, who plays a key role in Jana Nayagan, has taken home ₹60 lakhs.

According to the reports, the rest of the Jana Nayagan star cast charged a total of ₹8.6 crore. The shooting duration of the Thalapathy Vijay starrer was over 148 days. The film's shooting expenses reportedly went over ₹48 crore. While the set work and the CG work costed ₹15 crore and ₹5 crore, each.
