Jana Nayagan (2026) Box Office Collection Day 5 Early Updates: Thalapathy Vijay's swansong film Jana Nayagan continues its dream run at the box office. However, despite the expected Monday fall, the H. Vinoth directorial has touched a new milestone today (Monday) after the smashing opening weekend.

Released on July 23, Jana Nayagan marks Thalapathy Vijay's last outing on big screens. Co-starring Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde among others, the Tamil-language political action-drama opened to mostly positive reactions from fans and critics alike.

Jana Nayagan Opening Weekend Box Office Collection (Day 4)

Bankrolled by KVN Productions, Thalapathy Vijay's final film Jana Nayagan has turned theatres into a fan fest across the South. While Tamil Nadu holds the major domination, the movie has also set theatres on fire in other states as well.

With an opening day collection of ₹42.70 Cr (net) on the first day, as per Sacnilk, Jana Nayagan recorded a noticeable 10.5% jump in numbers on Sunday (yesterday) and added ₹32 cr net, pushing the total net numbers to ₹124.75 Cr, while the gross (India) figures were at ₹145.98 Cr in 4 days.

Overseas, the film collected ₹10 Cr on Day 4, taking its total overseas gross to ₹71.50 Cr and worldwide gross earnings to ₹217.48 Cr.

Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan is facing its crucial Monday test today (July 27). As expected, the film has witnessed the usual weekday dip after a strong opening weekend. However, despite the drop in collections, Jana Nayagan has already crossed the ₹150 crore mark in worldwide gross earnings.

According to the live Sacnilk data, the movie has so far managed to rake in around ₹4.20 Cr today till 7:00 PM across 7,785 shows. With this, the total 5-day nett figures are estimated to be at ₹128.95 Cr (approx) as of now, and the total India-gross collection is said to be around ₹150.94 Cr.
