Karuppu OTT Rights Are Sold; Suriya Starrer To Stream On THIS Platform: The long-awaited upcoming action drama film, directed by actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji, is gearing up for a May 2026 release. Suriya is set to play the central character in Karuppu, which is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated Tamil films of this year. Reportedly, the post-theatrical OTT rights of the film are already sold.

As per the latest updates, the post-theatrical streaming rights of Suriya and RJ Balaji's ambitious project, are already sold. Reportedly, Karuppu OTT rights have been bagged by the streaming giant Netflix, for a whopping price. With this massive deal, the upcoming action drama film has now emerged as the third consecutive film of the actor to stream on Netflix, after the upcoming Vishwanath And Sons, and Suriya 47.
Karuppu Cast And Crew
If the reports are to be believed, Suriya is set to play the central character Karuppu Swamy in the upcoming RJ Balaji directorial. Karuppu reportedly revolves around a social subject which involves a court proceeding, against the backdrop of some fantasy elements. Trisha Krishnan appears as the female lead opposite Suriya, in Karuppu. The popular actress is set to play the role of an advocate in the movie, which is written by RJ Balaji himself, along with Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, TS Gopi Krishnan, and Karan Aravind Kumar.
The RJ Balaji directorial features Malayalam actor Indrans, Yogi Babu, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maaya Ravi, Supreeth Reddy, and others in the key roles. Sai Abhyankkar has composed the songs and the original score for the film. GK Vishnu and Kiran Kaushik and the directors of photography, and R Kalaivanan handles the editing of the film, which is bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures.
