Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) Will Not Release Anytime Soon: Pradeep Ranganathan, the multi-faceted talent teamed up with director Vignesh Shivan, for the futuristic sci-fi romantic comedy film. Love Insurance Kompany aka LIK was originally slated to get a 2025 release. But the movie has been delayed indefinitely now, due to multiple reasons.

Even though the updates on Love Insurance Kompany that came out in the beginning of 2026 promised a February release for the film, it never materialised. Now, the latest reports suggest that LIK might not hit the theatres, anytime soon. The new updates have left the cinephiles and Pradeep Ranganathan fans, highly disappointed.

Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) Release Postponed; To Hit The Theatres In July?

As per the latest reports, the release of Love Insurance Kompany has been put on hold indefinitely for now, due to the ongoing Middle East war. LIK was moved out of the February 2026 race because the makers are keen to get a solo release for the film, and wanted to avoid clashing with Thalapathy Vijay's delayed final film, Jana Nayagan. However, they were planning to release the Pradeep Ranganathan starrer in April 2026, after Jana Nayagan moved out of the race completely.

But now, Love Insurance Kompany has been delayed indefinitely due to the Middle East war, and the uncertainty surrounding film releases in that region. Well, it is quite obvious that none of the films can afford to miss out on a massive overseas region like the UAE and GCC, and it is the biggest market for Indian films outside the country. So, the team is planning to wait till July 2026, to release the film.

Pradeep Ranganathan plays the protagonist, who crosses timelines to find his lady love, in the Vignesh Shivan directorial. Krithi Shetty appears as the female lead in LIK, which stars actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah as the lead antagonist. Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, Seeman, Shah Ra, Mysskin, Anandaraj, Sunil Reddy, and others essay the supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music score for the film, as well as voiced the character Bro 9000. Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is bankrolled by Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio.
