Recently, Jio Hotstar took to their social media handles and officially announced the OTT release date of Lucky The Superstar. The web series, which stars Anaswara Rajan as the female lead opposite GV Prakash Kumar, is all set to made its digital debut on Friday, February 20, 2026. "Meet the smallest superstar with the biggest impact... A direct OTT release after a long time," reads the X post of Jio Hotstar Tamil.

Lucky, which is helmed by the actor-filmmaker Uday Mahesh, will be available for streaming on Jio Hostar in over seven languages, including the Tamil original, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, and Bengali. As per the reports, the GV Prakash Kumar starrer is all set to have its streaming debut at 12 AM on February 20, 2026.

Lucky The Superstar: Plot, Star Cast And Crew

As per the reports, Lucky The Superstar revolves around the titular character, a puppy, who has superpowers. The protagonist, played by GV Prakash Kumar is the initial owner of Lucky, the puppy. However, he abandons the puppy without realising his powers, but later regrets the decision and gets into a mission to find him.

Along with GV Prakash Kumar and Anaswara Rajan, Lucky The Superstar features evadarshini, Subbu Panchu Arunachalam, Kovai Sarala, Elango Kumaravel, Namo Narayan, Daniel, Madhusudhan Rao and others in the pivotal role. Hridayam fame music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab has composed the songs and original score for Lucky. Kishore has handled the editing of the series.
