Parasakthi Censor Certificate Not Issued Yet: The period political drama which stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, is gearing up to hit the theatres on January 10, 2026. Parasakthi recently made headlines with the issues related to its censor formalities. Even though the Sudha Kongara directorial completed the censor certification process, the recent reports suggest that the certificate is not issued yet.

Parasakthi Censor Certificate Not Issued Yet

As reported earlier, Parasakthi has completed its censor formalities on Monday, January 5, 2026, and received a U/A rating from the censor board. Even though it was earlier assumed that the Sivakarthikeyan starrer will have a smooth release, the new updates suggest that the problems are not completely resolved yet. The censor board officials have not issued the certificate for the Sudha Kongara film yet, due to undisclosed reasons.

Even though the delay in the censor board certification has distressed the Parasakthi team, the makers are still going ahead with the promotional activities as planned. According to the recent X (formerly Twitter) updates by trade analyst Laxmi Kanth, the Parasakthi promotional tour will begin on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, as planned before. Reportedly, Sudha Kongara's film might receive its censor certificate soon unlike Jana Nayagan, the Thalapathy Vijay film which is now in a major trouble.

Sivakarthikeyan, the leading man and the rest of the cast and crew members will attend the grand promotional event, which is slated to be held in Kochi, Kerala, on January 7, 2026. Later, the Parasakthi team will arrive in Trichy, Tamil Nadu for the highly anticipated 'World Of Parasakthi' event, which is expected to be held on January 8, 2026.

Parasakthi Cast And Crew

The Sudha Kongara directorial, which is set in the backdrop of the Madras city of the 1965, stars Sivakarthikeyan as the protagonist. Ravi Mohan appears as the antagonist in the film, which stars Sreeleela as the female lead and Atharvaa in a key role. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the songs and original score for the film, which is bankrolled by Dawn Pictures.
