Parasakthi Censored With U/A Certificate, Jana Nayagan Out Of Trouble: Thalapathy Vijay's final film, and the upcoming Sivakarthikeyan starrer have been making headlines with the issues with their censor certificates, lately. Both the films' releases ran into trouble lately after the censor board failed to issue certificates on time. However, recent updates suggest that Parasakthi has now cleared censoring with a U/A certificate, while Jana Nayagan is also out of trouble.

Parasakthi Censored With U/A Certificate

As per the latest reports, the upcoming period political drama featuring Sivakarthikeyan will release as planned, on Saturday, January 10, 2026. The Sudha Kongara directorial received its censor certificate on January 5, 2026, evening, and has bagged a U/A certificate with a few changes. The censoring of Parasakthi was initially put on hold, reportedly due to the film's sensitive content. However, now it has been confirmed that the film will release as planned.

What Is The Current Status Of Jana Nayagan?

The long delay in the censor formalities of the upcoming Thalapathy Vijay film had left the actor's fans and cinephiles deeply distressed. It was reported that Jana Nayagan might not receive censor certificate anytime soon, as the censor board officials have appealed for another screening, even after making all the changes that were put forward after the initial screening.

It was even reported that the release of Jana Nayagan might get pushed, if the censor certificate is not issued very soon. However, the new reports suggest that Thalapathy Vijay's film has cleared the censoring, and is set to receive a U/A certificate. If the reports are to be believed, the censor certificate will be issued by 11 AM on January 6, 2026. The Tamil Nadu advance bookings of the film are expected to begin soon after the same.

All About Jana Nayagan And Parasakthi

Along with Thalapathy Vijay, the H Vinoth directorial features a massive star cast including Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and others. Anirudh composed music score for Jana Nayagan, which is bankrolled by KVN Productions.

When it comes to the Sudha Kongara directorial, Sivakarthikeyan plays the protagonist in the film, which stars Ravi Mohan as the antagonist. Sreeleela and Atharvaa appear in the other key roles in Parasakthi. GV Prakash Kumar composed the music score for the film, which is bankrolled by Dawn Pictures.
