Parasakthi Final Business Report Out; Emerges As A Profitable Venture: Sivakarthikeyan teamed up with director Sudha Kongara for the recently released political drama film. Parasakthi, which hit the theatres on January 10, 2026, has emerged as an average grosser at the box office. As per the latest updates, Sivakarthikeyan's film has emerged as profitable venture already, with its pre-release business.

As per the latest reports by the box office tracking website Cinetrends, the Sivakarthikeyan starrer has collected over ₹102 crore with its pre-release business. Parasakthi reportedly made over ₹32 crore from its satellite rights. The OTT rights of the Sudha Kongara directorial were sold to Zee5 for a whopping price of ₹52 crore. The audio rights of the film was bagged by Saregama Tamil, for ₹18 crore.

The recent reports by the trade experts suggest that the Parasakthi worldwide box office collection has crossed the ₹103 crore mark. The Sivakarthikeyan starrer has made a producer's share of around ₹45 crore to ₹50 crore, already. From the new reports, it is now confirmed that Parasakthi has already emerged as a profitable venture for its makers, despite underperforming at the box office.

Parasakthi Plot, Cast And Crew

The period political drama, which is set against the backdrop of the Madras city of 1965, revolves around a ruthless officer turns up to track down the rebels in the state, Chezhian and his brother Chinna Durai, who have drastically different personalities, are dragged into this battle of justice. Soon, Chezhian, a peaceful man initially, is forced to abandon his nature to protect his people.

Sivakarthikeyan appears as the protagonist in Parasakthi, which features Ravi Mohan (Jayam Ravi) as the lead antagonist. Sreeleela appears as the female lead in the film which stars Atharvaa in a pivotal role. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the songs and the original score for Parasakthi. Ravi K Chandran is the director of photography. Sathish Surya handles the editing. Parasakthi is produced by Dawn Pictures, and distributed by Red Giant Movies.
