Parasakthi OTT Release Date Update: Sivakarthikeyan Starrer Delayed?
As reported earlier, the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of the Sudha Kongara directorial have been bagged by Zee5. The popular streaming platform bagged the digital rights of Parasakthi for a whopping price of ₹52 crore. Thus, the period political drama has stricken the biggest OTT deal in the career of its leading man, Sivakarthikeyan.
Earlier, it was reported that Parasakthi will hit the OTT screens in February 2026, after completing its theatrical run. However, in the recently held success meet producer Dev Ramnath revealed that the Sudha Kongara directorial might not have its digital release in February, as reported earlier. The OTT release of the period political drama has been delayed for a good reason.
According to producer Dev Ramnath, the OTT platform has reportedly consented to provide Parasakthi an eight-week-long theatrical window. This will allow the Sivakarthikeyan starrer to have a longer run at the theatres. So, it is now safe to assume that Parasakthi will have its OTT release only in March 2026, after completing eight weeks of its theatrical release.
