Parasakthi OTT Release: Where To Stream Sivakarthikeyan's Film? The highly anticipated period political drama film, which is helmed by Sudha Kongara, has finally hit the theatres today (January 10, 2026). Parasakthi features Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, while Ravi Mohan appears as the lead antagonist. As per the reports, the OTT streaming rights of the multi-starrer are already sold.
Parasakthi OTT Release: Where To Stream Sivakarthikeyan's Starrer Online?
The Sivakarthikeyan starrer which hit the big screens as a Pongal 2026 special release, is confirmed to have a successful run at the theatres. As per the reports, popular streaming platform Zee5 has bagged the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of Parasakthi. Interestingly, the OTT platform paid over a whopping ₹52 crore for the digital rights of the Sudha Kongara directorial.
If the reports are to be believed, it is the biggest-ever OTT deal in the career of leading man Sivakarthikeyan, so far. The recent updates suggest that Parasakthi is expected to make its OTT debut in Zee5, around 35 to 40 days after its theatrical run. In that case, we can expect the Sudha Kongara directorial on OTT, around the second or third week of February 2026. An official announcement on the same is expected to be made very soon.
Parasakthi Plot, Star Cast And Crew
The Sudha Kongara revolves around the student's protest against the Hindi imposition in the Madras state, which happened in the mid-1960s. Parasakthi depicts the story of Chezhaiyan aka Che, a peaceful man who tries to stay away from troubles as much as possible. However, his life takes a different turn after his younger brother Chinna Durai gets involved in a student's protest, and encounters a ruthless policeman named Thirunaadan.
Sivakarthikeyan, Atharvaa, and Ravi Mohan appear in the roles of Chezhaiyan, Chinna Durai, and Thirunaadan respectively, in Parasakthi. Sreeleela appears in the role of Rathnamala in the film, which stars Kulappulli Leela, Prakash Belawadi, Dev Ramnath, Prithvi Rajan, Guru Somasundaram, Chetan, Shaji Chen, Papri Gosh, and others in supporting roles.
GV Prakash Kumar composed the songs and the original score for Parasakthi. Ravi K Chandran is the director of photography. Sathish Surya handled the editing for the film, which is bankrolled by Dawn Pictures and distributed by Red Giant Movies.
