Meanwhile, a group of netizens have noticed the unexplainable connection between Thalapathy Vijay and the date "27", which has turned out to be instrumental in both his acting and political careers, as well as in his personal life.

A group of netizens recently came up with a new theory, which suggest that all important (both good and bad) things in Vijay's life have happened in this particular date. According to the theories, the actor-politician conducted his first TVK Maanaadu (meeting), at Vikravandi in Tamil Nadu on October 27, 2024. Later, it was followed by the tragic Karur stampede, which happened at a TVK rally that happened on September 27, 2025.

Later, Thalapathy Vijay met the families of the Karur Stamepede victims, exactly after a month, on October 27, 2026. The crowd-puller attended the much-celebrated Jana Nayagan audio launch event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on December 27, 2026. After his long-awaited final film got delayed due to the censor issues, the makers resubmitted their case against the CBFC for a fresh hearing on January 27, 2026.

Later, on February 27, 2026, Thalapathy Vijay's estranged wife Sangeetha Sornalingam's divorce petition, which she filed at the Chengalpattu Family Court a few weeks back, was leaked online.
