However, it is the recent comments of R Parthiban that shocked the audiences the most. The senior actor-director recently took a direct dig on Trisha over her public appearance with Vijay. The Thug Life actress has now hit back at Parthiban's comments, with a strong statement.

R Parthiban, who recently attended an event, was asked about his previous co-stars. When the conversation shifted to Trisha's performance as Kundavai in Mani Ratnam directorial Ponniyin Selvan, the actor-filmmaker who played a key role in the film, passed a shocking remark. "Better to ask Kundavai to sit at home" said Parthiban, who also added that it would be better if she did not step out because "it has been creating a lot of issues."

Trisha Krishnan, who is clearly upset with her Ponniyin Selvan co-star's remark, took to her official Instagram and X handles and clapped back with a strong note. "I was informed by the organisers of a recent event that my name and picture were included at the last minute at the request of an individual conveyed through his assistant," wrote the Leo actress.

"A microphone doesn't make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder.Crude words without knowledge say more about the speaker than the person they're aimed at," further added Trisha Krishnan, revealing her displeasure over R Parthiban's unnecessary remarks.

As expected, Trisha Krishnan's fans have been expressing their support for her in the comments section, while she is also being trolled by a section of audiences. The netizens, who support Thalapathy Vijay's wife Sangeetha and his family, are now slamming the Ghilli actress yet again for "soft launching" her relationship with a married man without remorse. However, both Vijay and Trisha are maintaining a deep silence over the issue.
