Vijay Arrives In New Delhi; TVK Chief To Appear Before CBI For Questioning On Karur Stampede Case: The actor-politician, who is currently busy with the election campaign for his party TVK, has now taken a break from the same. Thalapathy Vijay has reportedly arrived in New Delhi, to appear before the CBI investigation team for the third round of questioning in the Karur Stamepede Case.

Vijay Arrives In New Delhi For CBI Questioning On Karur Stampede Case

As per the latest reports, the TVK Chief has now arrived at the National capital for the CBI questioning on Karur Stampede Case. The recent reports suggest that Thalapathy Vijay who landed in New Delhi, has checked in to the Taj Palace hotel in the city. The videos of the TVK Chief's car arriving at the hotel are now going viral on social media now.

Earlier, Thalapathy Vijay was asked to appear for an interrogation on March 10, 2026. Even though the TVK Chief requested for 15 days to appear before the team, his request was rejected by CBI. However, investigation later decided to give the actor-politician 5 days time to appear. Vijay is now set to appear for his third round of questioning, on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

As you may know the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam founder had also requested the CBI team to shift the third round of interrogation, owing to his busy schedule. However, the investigation team rejected his plea and asked him to come to the CBI head quarters in New Delhi, as always.

As you may know, Thalapathy Vijay attended the TVK rally held in Karur, Tamil Nadu on September 27, 2026. The tragic stampede at the rally killed 41 people and injured over 100. The crush was triggered by a 7-hour delay in TVK Chief Vijay's arrival, which ended up causing a massive crowd surge.
