Youth Telugu Release Delayed: The coming-of-age romantic drama film, which is written and directed by Ken Karunas, hit the theatres on March 19, 2026. Youth, which stars the director himself in the lead role, was expected to get a Telugu release, along with the original Tamil version. However, the Youth Telugu version, which was slated to be released on March 26, 2026, is now postponed.

As per the latest reports, the Telugu version of Ken Karunas' ambitious project is not hitting the theatres on Thursday, March 26, 2026, as planned earlier. The Youth Telugu release has been pushed by a day, due to undisclosed reasons. Now, the coming-of-age romantic drama film is gearing up to hit the theatres on Friday, March 27, 2026, instead. Even though the director and team have not comment on the delay, the rumour mills suggest that it happened because of some technical issues.

Youth, which has already emerged as a superhit in Tamil, is expected to recreate its magic among the Telugu audiences as well. The coming-of-age romantic drama will officially mark the Telugu debut of its director-leading man Ken Karunas. The makers are planning to conduct limited paid premier shows in Hyderabad and other major cities of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, ahead of the Youth Telugu version's release.

All About Youth

The coming-of-age romantic drama film narrates the story of a 15-year-old boy named Praveen, who is desperate to find his perfect match. However, the protagonist soon finds himself entagled in not one, but three different relationships. His experiences with love and later its loss shape his understanding of relationships and himself.

Ken Karunas, who is the son of senior actor Karunas, played the central character Praveen and has also written and directed the film. Popular Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu and Devadarshini play the roles of Praveen's parents in Youth, which stars Anishma Anilkumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, Nalini, Chinna Thamizha, and others in the key roles. GV Prakash Kumar composed the songs and the original score for the film.
