The luxury budget task has the Bigg Boss 8 house turning into Gautam City and given the captain Gautam the unquestionable power to rule the contestants. During one of his tasks, Gautam asks the contestants to hand him over what ever he demands without questioning him. This is when he would ask Sonali to hand over her make-up along with her cigarettes, knowing the fact that she has kept her habit a secret from her parents.

Sonali would get shocked hearing Gautam's words when he asks her to give her cigarettes over. She even says it was not needed to be told aloud on the cameras, and to this Gautam asks her to do it (smoking) openly so her parents can get to know.
