Here's Why Ajay Devgn Skipped Comedy Nights With Kapil And Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7!

Ajay Devgn was supposed to promote his film Singham Returns on the popular show Comedy Nights With Kapil and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7. While he canceled Comedy Nights shoot in the last minute, he skipped Jhalak 7 all together. The reason behind his skipping the promotions was apparently because he is down with malaria.

Except for the most important promotional events Ajay Devgn is staying low in the ones he can skip. While he promised he will be shooting Kapil Sharma's show as soon as he recovers, his co-star Kareena Kapoor had to single handedly manage the promotions on Jhalak.

Come to think of it, with Jhalak not being able to garner enough ratings the show is said to be ending sooner than expected. This might be the reason why Ajay felt the show is not as important and asked Kareena to take care of it.

Comedy Nights With Kapil, on the other hand, is one of the popular shows with spectacular popularity. This must have made him not cancel but postpone the shoot just until he is well enough to handle the fun on the show.

Singham Returns, the film directed by Rohit Shetty is produced by Relience Entertainment, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty and stars Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor alongside each other. The film is set to hit the screens on 15th August.
