Star Plus's upcoming show 'Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai' based on reincarnation starring Surbhi Jyoti and Shoaib Ibrahim as Geetanjali and Abhimanyu, respectively is in the news for its intriguing promo and the stellar cast. The first promo which released a couple of days ago was spine-chilling.

Undoubtedly, the promo has aroused a lot of curiosity among the viewers without revealing much about the storyline. Finally, the on-air date of the show is revealed. The show will from 25 February, from 9 pm to 10 pm on weekends.

As we had reported earlier, the makers have roped in talented actors such as Mita Vashisht, Shaleen Malhotra, Sreejita De, Rushad Rana and Sheetal Dabholkar for the show. Earlier, there were reports that, Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has been approached for a key cameo role, but now it is confirmed that the actress is not a part show.

Television actress Ekroop Bedi is the newest entrant to the show. Apparently, she will play the role of Chanda, the caretaker of the house in which Geetanjali and Abhimanyu reside. Also, she will be seen taking care of the lonely Geetanjali post Abhimanyu's death.

If we go by the promos, Shoaib will play the role of an army officer in the show. Surbhi will play the role of a simple and educated girl from Rajasthan. Geetanjali and Abhimanyu will eventually meet, fall in love with each other and get married. Soon, a tragedy strikes in lives of the couple, leading to Abhimanyu's fateful death.

Certain incidents force Geetanjali to believe that her husband is alive. The story will revolve around Geetanjali, who will try to solve Abhimanyu's murder mystery.
