Shaheer Sheikh New Project: TV star Shaheer Sheikh, who made his acting debut with Kya Mast Hai Life in 2009, has come a long way in his career and is counted among the most-loved actors on the small screen. Known for his roles in popular shows like Mahabharat, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke among others, Shaheer Sheikh was last seen playing the role in Rajan Shahi's Woh Toh Hai Albelaa.
The Star Bharat show, featuring Hiba Nawab as the female lead opposite Shaheer, ended in June this year and his fans have been missing seeing him on TV since then. Recently, several reports suggested that the TV star has been approached to replace Harshad Chopda as the new male lead in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as the makers of the long-running Star Plus show have been planning for another generation leap.

While the development left fans of Shaheer Sheikh elated, the actor cleared that the makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have not approached him and he's not entering the popular family drama after the leap. The clarification left his fans sad, however, here comes a piece of great news for them.
Shaheer Sheikh is not doing Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai but he has signed a bigger project. Well, we're talking about Netflix's Do Patti. From the past few weeks, there have been rumours about the TV star bagging a pivotal role in the project alongside Kriti Sanon and Kajol. Now, he has confirmed the same. Yes, you read that right!
Shaheer is a part of Do Patti and has already started shooting for it. In a recent interview, he shared his excitement over the same and told Pinkvilla, "I love the thrill and challenge of essaying a character with so many shades. Kanika's a fantastic storyteller and I'm excited to bring her vision to life. It's an honor to work alongside such a stellar cast. I can't wait for the world to see what we're creating."
