Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Leap Update: Following the success of Bidaai, Rajan Shahi once again collaborated with Star Plus in 2009 to create Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, featuring Hina Khan and Karan Mehra. Over the past 14 years, the show has undergone numerous transformations, including multiple time leaps, and it currently centers on the third generation.

ANOTHER GENERATION LEAP IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI

In 2021, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod joined Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as the new leads, Abhimanyu and Akshara, respectively, following a time leap, and they have been capturing the hearts of viewers ever since. The current storyline revolves around Akshara's life after the tragic demise of Abhiman (Jay Soni).

Akshara has formed a close bond with Abhimanyu to support her son, Abhir, who is struggling to cope with the sudden loss of Abhinav. With Abhimanyu's assistance, she is working to help the young boy heal. In the upcoming track, AbhiRa will finally decided to re-marry for the sake of their son when Akshara will get to know that she's pregnant with Abhinav's child.

SHAHEER SHEIKH NOT REPLACING HARSHAD CHOPDA AS NEW HERO

Amid all this, there are rumours that the makers are planning to introduce another generation leap as the show has witnessed a dip in the ratings. Not just that, there are speculations that Shaheer Sheikh might replace Harshad Chopda as the new male lead after leap. However, the Woh Toh Hai Albelaa star has finally reacted to rumours.

Shaheer has now cleared that he's not in talks for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Revealing the same, he told ETimes, "Nobody has approached me from the production house till now."

Well, the development is surely going to make Shaheer Sheikh fans sad as they were elated with the news of his entry in YRKKH. Now, it'll be interesting to see who'll replace Harshad and Pranali after leap.
