Recently, Anupamaa reached a significant milestone by completing three successful years and airing its remarkable 1000th episode. To keep the show engaging for its devoted viewers, the creators frequently introduce intriguing twists and turns. For those who may not be aware, the ongoing storyline in Anupamaa addresses the sensitive issue of domestic violence as Adhik (Adhik Mehta) subjects his wife Pakhi (Muskan Bamne) to physical and emotional abuse.

With the family members now aware of Adhik's true nature, he is making desperate efforts to manipulate Pakhi to avoid facing legal consequences. As expected, the storyline is receiving a positive response from viewers. Amid all this, the show recently witnessed a cast member's exit after a stint of three years.

Well, we're talking about Ekta Saraiya who essayed the important character of Vanraj's sister Dolly in the show. After being a part of Anupamaa for three years, the talented actress recently put her papers down as she bagged a role in ZEE TV's new show Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai.

ANUPAMAA: HERE'S WHY EKTA SARAIYA AKA DOLLY LEFT

Ekta Saraiya recently revealed the real reason behind quitting Anupamaa and told ETimes, "I had a good role in Anupamaa but then there were multiple tracks going on in the show. And in the meantime I got selected for Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai, which will also be telecast seven days in a week. So, it was difficult for me to shoot for two shows, simultaneously. The production team at Anupamaa is great and they were okay with me juggling two shows, but it was not possible for me to focus on both the shows. I left the show on a very positive note and am grateful that I got this opportunity to act in a Rajan Shahi show."

Well, her fans are surely going to miss seeing her in Anupamaa.
