Amid the ongoing track, fans are missing the character of Romil, essayed by Viraaj Kapoor. The actor made an entry in Anupamaa as Ankush's illegitimate son and came as a breath of fresh air for viewers as they found him real. Ever since Samar's death, his character has been missing from the events happening in the show.

While fans are confused with Viraaj Kapoor aka Romil's absence from Anupamaa, the actor finally opened up about the same in a recent interview and revealed that he's hoping to return to the show very soon.

Talking about his track in Anupamaa, Viraaj told India Forums, "There wasn't a specific reason for my break. My character, Romil, was primarily associated with the Kapadia house, not the Shah house. When Samar passed away tragically, it made sense that Romil wasn't involved in that family's storyline, especially since Romil's father (Ankush) wasn't present either. It was necessary for characters closely related to Samar to be on that track, which is why my absence occurred."

There are reports that Rajan Shahi is planning to introduce a five-year leap in Anupamaa. While an official announcement regarding the same is still awaited, there are reports that MaAn will separate once again.
