WHY BAPUJI IS MISSING FROM RUPALI GANGULY'S ANUPAMAA?

While Maya is busy with her planning and plotting, Anuj and Choti Anu too are happy that Anupama is finally fulfilling her dreams. However, amidst all the ongoing drama, Bapuji, played by veteran actor Arvind Vaidya, is missing from the events unfolding inside the Shah house from around a month now.

As Bapuji considers Anupama as heis own daughter, the loyal viewers were surprised to see his character missing from her farewell party. While fans were wondering if everything's fine or not, the actor has finally opened up about his absence from Anupamaa.

ANUPAMAA: ARVIND VAIDYA AKA BAPUJI CURRENTLY HOLIDAYING IN US

In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he's currently holidaying in the United States with his wife and will be back soon. Yes, you read that right!

Revealing the same, Arvind Vaidya told ETimes, "My son lives with his family in Atlanta and I had applied for leave in January itself, and booked our tickets. My wife and I left for the US on June 4 and at that time, this track had not been planned. I had shot for my episodes and left. In TV, tracks are not planned in advance. It is quite unpredictable."

He added, "We will return on July 6 and I will be back on the set thereafter."

So Anupamaa fans, your beloved Bapuji isn't quitting the show and will be back very soon.
