EXCL: Archana Gautam’s Actor-Friend Ranveer Singh Maliks Supports Her Amid Delhi Attack Controversy
Archana Gautam Controversy: Model-turned-politician Archana Gautam and her father were attacked outside the Congress office in New Delhi a few days ago. The incident left Gautam's father and driver severely injured. Now Archana's close friend and actor Ranveer Singh Malik, known for his role as Rahul in the TV show Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, has come out in her support.

He said, "I don't know what is happening between the war of political parties. But one thing I know for sure is whatever happened in front of Congress headquarters with my friend Archana is not at all acceptable. I guess no girl should face such an experience. It is highly discouraging and degrading when it comes to the rules for protection of a woman.
Earlier, Malik cleared that he doesn't share any love angle with the Bigg Boss 16 star Archana Gautam. He also expressed his anger at the incident and called it shameful.
He continued, "Archana is a very dear friend of mine and I have seen her struggles and witnessed her journey. And after her participation in Bigg Boss, everybody knows her aura. She is a clean-hearted individual.
"I don't understand what went wrong when she went to Congress HQ to present a bouquet. She has been attacked by a group of women where she was pushed, her hair has been torn and her father along with the driver was beaten as well. This whole scenario took place in front of Congress HQ." Malik said.
RANVEER UNHAPPY WITH NO SUPPORT FOR ARCHANA FROM CONGRESS
"She is a member of the Congress party and had fought election of MLA back in 2021. This was very shameful till now no member of Congress has come in support of her. I want to question that if this kind of respect the party gives to their candidates," he added.
Ranveer concluded by showing his support to her friend and mentioned, "By God's grace she is safe but what if something worse would have taken place? I feel so disturbed while thinking about it. I think it's high time that rules and regulations should be made very strict for women's safety and the government in action should take strong action regarding the incident. So that this scenario doesn't repeat again with anyone else in future."
Ranveer is known for featuring in shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (2013) and Shaadi Mubarak (2021). Ranveer was also paired opposite Archana Gautam in their recently-released Haryanvi song AC Lagwa De.
