Junooniyatt: Fans Complain Why Jahaan Keeps Crying; Ankit Gupta Breaks Silence & Says ‘Shayad Aisa…’

Junooniyatt Update: After the success of Udaariyaan, television stars Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta reunited with Colors TV earlier this year to present their second production, Junooniyatt. This musical drama, featuring notable talents like Ankit Gupta, Gautam Singh Vig, and Neha Rana, made its debut in February amid high anticipation and excitement.
Although Junooniyatt received a warm reception upon its premiere, it faced a decline in TRP ratings after the initial two to three months of airing. In a previous statement, Ankit Gupta acknowledged the show's underperformance and expressed the team's commitment to improving the viewing experience.
ANKIT GUPTA ON JAHAAN'S CRYING SCENES
In July of this year, the daily soap underwent a time slot change, moving from its original 8:30 pm slot to a new airing time of 9:00 pm on Colors TV. Additionally, the creative team introduced several storyline modifications, resulting in a modest improvement in ratings. The entire team is delighted with the increase in TRP and is hopeful for further improvements in the months ahead.
Interestingly, in the current track, Ankit Gupta's character Jahaan is often seen crying due to his mother's health. In a recent interview, the TV star opened up about the same and stated that maybe people think that he performs amazingly in such scenes.
Talking to Ghaint Punjab about the same, he said, "Udaariyaan mei bhi aur abhi Junooniyatt mei bhi, mai bohot rota hoon. Shayad aisa hoga, sabko aisa lagta hai ki ye rota bohot acha hai isko rulate raho."
JUNOONIYATT TO SUFFER SLOT CHANGE?
As per the ongoing buzz, Junooniyatt might suffer slot change once again as Vishal Aditya Singh and Kanika Mann starrer upcoming show Chand Jalne Laga might take its slot. As there are also rumours of Fahmaan Khan's Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii, there are still now confirmation on the final time slots yet.
