Katha Akahee Leap Update: Aditi Sharma and Adnan Khan embarked on their television careers through distinct paths. Aditi took her first steps in showbiz back in 2004 with her debut on ZEE TV's India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, while Adnan's television journey began in 2014 with his appearance on Star Plus' Arjun. Over the years, both actors have garnered the affection of countless viewers.

Having tasted success in various popular shows during their careers, this dynamic duo finally teamed up for the Sony TV series Katha Ankahee, produced by Sphere Origins. The show serves as the official Hindi adaptation of the Turkish series One Thousand and One Nights, drawing inspiration from the timeless tales of Arabian Nights.

SONY TV'S KATHA ANKAHEE TO TAKE A BIG LEAP?

In Katha Ankahee, Aditi Sharma takes on the lead role of Katha Singh, a determined single mother who faces her greatest challenge when her son, Aarav, is diagnosed with a severe form of blood cancer. Struggling to cope with the extensive medical expenses and receiving no support from her in-laws, Katha finds herself at a dire crossroads.

Meanwhile, Adnan Khan portrays Viaan Raghuvanshi, a successful architect burdened by the emotional scars left by his father's abandonment of his mother, Teji, in favor of another woman. This traumatic experience has deeply wounded Viaan emotionally, leaving him with a cynical perspective on women, viewing them all as opportunistic.

While the show has been getting love and appreciation ever since it premiered on Sony TV in December last year, the latest reports suggest that the makers are now planning to introduce a major leap in Katha Ankahee.

ADITI SHARMA CONFIRMS LEAP IN KATHA ANKAHEE

Revealing the same, a source told Pinkvilla, "Since Kathaa Ankahee is an adaption of a Turkish drama 1001 Nights, the makers have exhausted the story from the original source and thus have planned to take the show forward with a dash of freshness and due to the same reason, a leap is expected in the show."

So far, the show's creative team is yet to react to the same but lead star Aditi Sharma has finally confirmed the development. Yes, you read that right! Revealing the same, Aditi said, "Well, nothing has been informed to us officially. But, I'm aware that we will go for a time-lapse."
