Following her exit from the eventful BB house, her fans have eagerly awaited news of her next television project. The wait is now over, as she returns to the small screen in Sony TV's Kavya: Ek Jazba Ek Junoon tonight (September 25).

Produced by DJ's Creative Unit, this series delves into the story of Kavya, an IAS officer portrayed by Sumbul, and Adiraj, an IAS aspirant played by Mishkat Varma. The narrative explores the challenges faced by Kavya after marriage, shedding light on societal expectations that often prioritize her partner's needs over her own personal and professional aspirations.

IS ANUJ SULLERE THE VILLAIN IN KAVYA?

Besides them, actor Anuj Sullere also plays the pivotal role of Kavya's boyfriend Shubham aka Shubh. As shown in the promos, the duo will face compatibility issues and that's when Mishkat's character will enter as the support system of the female lead. In a recent interview, Anuj revealed if he's playing the main antagonist in Kavya.

Talking about the same to Bollywood Spy, Anuj stated, "No, he's not. Promo ke hisaab se dikh raha hai because I will tell you how, character name jo hai mera Shubham hai, pyaar se use Shubh bolte hai. So, Shubh and Kavya are in a relationship, since 8 or 10 years, bachpan wala pyaar hai, dono ka common dream hai of becoming IAS officers. Like any other couple, they dreamt of becoming IAS officers, living a life together, having kids together, laal batti chahiye, officer banna hai, bungalow chahiye bada. During this journey, bohot saari complexities aati hai, bohot saare utaar-chadhaav aate hai, toh jo aapne promo mei dekha hai wo ek utaar-chadhaav ka hissa hai. Bohot beautifully explore kiya hai inke relationship ko throughout the show, kaise unke mixed emotions bahar aate hai, how they make a balance between their personal life, professional life, and their dreams."
