Lock Upp 2: Is Abhishek Malhan REPLACING Karan Kundrra Or Kangana? He Says ‘Show Ka Offer Aaya…’
Lock Upp 2 Update: After the success of its first season, Kangana Ranaut-hosted Lock Upp is reportedly returning with its second season very soon. While not much information about the hugely anticipated reality show is available, the latest rumours suggested that Bigg Boss OTT 2 runner-up Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan has been approached for Lock Upp season 2 but not as a contestant.
ABHISHEK MALHAN NOT HOSTING LOCK UPP 2
Well, there are speculations about Abhishek being in talks to replace Kangana Ranaut or Karan Kundrra (Jailer) as host. Yes, you read that right! So far, the makers are yet to confirm the same, however, the YouTuber has finally opened up about it.
In his mother Dimple Malhan's latest YouTube vlog, Fukra Insaan dismissed the rumors of hosting Lock Upp 2 and cleared that he hasn't even been approached for the reality show. Reacting to the same, he said, "Toh guys, main aapko bata doon, Lock Upp toh ho bhi raha hai ya nahi ho raha, koi confirmation nahi hai. Toh Lock Upp ki hosting ka offer mujhe nahi aaya hai."
ABHISHEK MALHAN OFFERED NEW REALITY SHOW AS HOST
That's not all. The much-loved Bigg Boss participant also revealed that he has received an offer to host a new reality show. Sharing the details, he added, "Mujhe ek aise show ka offer aaya hai jo India mei uska first season aane wala hai, it is a different concept altogether. I can't disclose it, but agar commercials match hote hai aur lagta hai ki karna chahiye, kyunki abhi dekho mera mann ban raha hai. Agar merko aisa lagta hai ki mai apni YouTube videos bhi bana sakta hun aur hosting ikhatti kar sakta hun toh mai haa karunga. Kyunki jab mai Bigg Boss ke ghar mei tha tab bhi videos daal raha tha, toh host karunga toh daal hi dunga na, jab ek jail mei band hoke bhi kar sakta hun toh ye toh mai karunga hi. Oviously, YouTube videos won't stop, kabhi ek-do hafta skip ho sakta hai lekin videos aaengi, mahine mei do-teen-chaar toh aaengi hi. Tum batao mujhe comments section mei ki host karna chahiye ki nahi."
Well, the development is surely going to leave his fans elated. However, the young lad is yet to accept the offer.
As of now, Abhishek Malhan is looking forward to the release of his first music video after Bigg Boss OTT 2. Titled Judaiyaan, the song features Jiya Shankar opposite him. It is slated to premiere on September 8.
