Naagin 6 NEW ENTRY: Actress Excited To REUNITE With Hubby For 3rd Time Onscreen In Tejasswi’s Show

Naagin 6 Update: Following her victory on Bigg Boss 15, Tejasswi Prakash, a prominent television personality, secured the lead role in the sixth installment of Ekta Kapoor's highly acclaimed Naagin franchise last year, leaving her fans thrilled.

Naagin 6 became a resounding success for both the makers and the channel and the show has been making headlines ever since its inception. The longest-running season in the Naagin franchise, the show was initially scheduled to conclude its run and bid farewell to viewers in February after completing one-year run.

Later, it was reported that the supernatural drama has got an extension of another two months and will go off-air in April this year. However, June is almost there and the latest buzz suggests that Naagin 6 has been granted another extension and there's still no clarity on the off-air date yet.

ANOTHER LEAP AND NEW ENTRY IN TEJASSWI PRAKASH'S NAAGIN 6

Interestingly, Tejasswi Prakash's much-loved show will soon witness another leap after which several new faces will mark their entries and one of them is well-known actress Malini Kapoor.

As reported earlier, Malini is confirmed to play a South-India character and will be introduced as the mother of Tejasswi Prakash's character. Interestingly, her actor-husband, Ajay Sharma, also plays a pivotal role in Naagin 6. He's seen as Sarvashreshth Naagraj Takshak, Pratha and Prathna's mentor.

Talking about the same, Malini told ETimes, "Apart from it being a popular franchise, another reason that prompted me to take up Naagin was the chance to reunite with my husband on screen for the third time. I would like to add that the supernatural genre is quite lucky for me. People still recognise me as my character Resham in my first show, Yeh Hawayein, a supernatural thriller, which aired almost 18 years ago."

For the unversed, Naagin season 6 marks Malini and Ajay's reunion onscreen for the third time. Earlier, the real-life couple worked together in Love U Zindagi and Y.A.R.O. Ka Tashan.
