CONFIRMED! Fahmaan Khan’s Dharampatnii To END On THIS Date, Co-Actress Says ‘It’s Heartbreaking’

Dharampatnii Off-Air Date: After featuring in shows like Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Fahmaan Khan finally established himself as a leading TV star with Gul Khan's hit Star Plus show Imlie opposite Sumbul Touqeer Khan.

However, the talented actor had to quit Imlie after the makers introduced a generation leap in it. Within a few months, he returned to the small screen with Ekta Kapoor's Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii on Colors TV co-starring Kritik Singh Yadav.

Fahmaan Khan's TV show premiered in November last year and has been receiving a decent response from the audience. Especially, the actor's portrayal of Ravi Randhawa has been garnering fantastic feedback.

FAHMAAN KHAN'S DHARAMPATNII ENDING IN JUNE AFTER 6-MONTHS' RUN

In a short span of time, Dharampatnii got popular among viewers, however, the popularity failed to convert into ratings and the show continued to underperform on the TRP front. Last month, there was a buzz that the daily soap is under the scanner due to low TRPs.

Well, the news is now confirmed. Yes, you read that right! Pyar Ke Saath Vachan Dharampatnii is set to go off-air in June after a run of over six months. The show's last episode will air on June 9.

ASHITA DHAWAN CONFIRMS DHARAMPATNII GOING OFF-AIR

Confirming the same, Fahmaan's co-star Ashita Dhawan told ETimes, "Yes, it's unfortunate that the show is ending. It's actually heartbreaking. We were informed about it a couple of days ago. You want a show to run longer, as you invest yourself in it completely. Like any other professional, actors also set some targets for themselves. A good show begets more and better work and helps you to raise your fee. I had pinned great hopes on this show."

For the unversed, Ashita plays the role of Dolly Vishal Randhawa in Dharampatnii. So far, Fahmaan hasn't yet reacted to the off-air news.

In recent times, many other shows on Colors, such as Sasural Simar Ka 2, Molkki 2, and Durga Aur Charu, have also gone off-air.
