Sumbul Touqeer Khan News: One of the most loved TV stars, Sumbul Touqeer Khan started her acting career as a child artist and has come a long way in her career. After starring in shows like Jodha Akbar, Waaris, and Chandragupta Maurya, she finally bagged her first lead role in Imlie.

Produced by Gul Khan under 4 Lions Films, the show premiered on Star Plus in 2020 with Sumbul and Gashmeer Mahajani in the lead roles of Imlie and Aditya respectively. The show turned out to be a huge success on the TRP charts.

Later, the makers introduced Fahmaan Khan as the new male lead, Aryan Singh Rathore, opposite Sumbul. His character was very popular and fans loved his onscreen chemistry with the actress.

However, both Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Fahmaan moved out of Imlie after the makers introdced a generation leap in it last year. While fans still miss seeing the trio in the hit show, Sumbul opened up about the better actor and favourite co-star between Fahmaan and Gashmeer.

Talking to Tellychakkar, Sumbul said, "Both of them are very hard-working. I can never choose between my friends, I adore their acting. From Gashmeer, I learned many things during Imlie as it was my first show as a lead. Gashmeer was very experienced and he always helped while shooting a lot of scenes. He also used to scold me at times and we used to improvise. He is a fabulous actor.

She added, "With Fahmaan as well, it was a wonderful experience and it was different as actors do have different personalities. Fahmaan and I used to have a lot of masti on the sets of the show and we would also get serious while shooting for scenes. They both are very hardworking and hence, they have reached where they are."

SUMBUL TOUQEER KHAN UPCOMING PROJECTS

After rising to fame with Imlie, Sumbul became a household name during her stint in Colors TV's Bigg Boss 16 hosted by Salman Khan. She's currently seen in Colors TV's Entertainment Ki Raat and is yet to announce her next fiction show.

Interestingly, Sumbul recently shot with Fahmaan again for Entertainment Ki Raat and several reported suggested that they indulged into a fight during shoot. However, both of them are yet to react on the same.
