While she went on to feature in several TV shows including Badi Doooor Se Aaye Hai, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and Kahani Hamari... Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki, Rhea became a household name after essaying the lead role of Mishti in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke opposite Shaheer Sheikh.

Also seen in the popular Star Plus show Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji, Rhea Sharma has been away from the small screen ever since Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke ended in 2020. It's been three years since she did a show and her fans have been eagerly awaiting her TV comeback. Well, here comes a piece of great news for the actress' fans.

RHEA SHARMA COMEBACK WITH A ZEE TV SHOW?

Well, the latest buzz suggests that Rhea Sharma is currently in talks for an upcoming show which might turn out to be her comeback vehicle. Yes, you read that right! According to Gossip TV, the Twitter account that shares all the latest updates related to TV shows and celebrities, has revealed that the actress has been approached to essay the lead role in an upcoming ZEE TV show titled Ikk Kudi Punjab Dii.

However, the actress as well as the makers are yet to confirm the same. As the title suggests, the show is likely to revolve around the life of a Punjabi girl. Besides that, not much information is yet available related to it.

Interestingly, Rhea Sharma's name was also doing the rounds when Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 took a generation leap earlier this year. Back then, reports suggested that she was almost confirmed to essay the role of grown-up Pihu. However, things failed to work out and the makers at last signed Pooja Bannerjee for the part. Here's hoping that things fall in place this time and Rhea finally makes her TV comeback with the upcoming show.
