Harshad Chopda News: Making his acting debut in 2006 with ZEE TV's Mamta, Harshad Chopda swiftly rose to prominence in the television industry. However, it was his portrayal of Cadet Ali in SAB TV's Left Right Left, alongside Rajeev Khandelwal, that gave him instant fame.
Building on the success of Left Right Left, Harshad Chopda did various popular shows, firmly establishing himself as one of the most popular celebrities on the small screen.
In 2021, Harshad Chopda became the new male lead, Abhimanyu Birla, opposite Pranali Rathod in Rajan Shahi's long-running series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, following a generation leap. Since joining the show, the talented actor continues to captivate hearts, proving to be a prominent figure in the industry, constantly shining in the spotlight.
ALL ABOUT HARSHAD CHOPDA AND SANAYA IRANI'S STAR PLUS SHOW
While the actor is happily doing YRKKH, did you know he was all set to romance Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon star Sanaya Irani in a Star Plus show back in 2016? Yes, you read that right! The duo was confirmed to essay the lead role in a show titled Meenu Mausi with Sanaya in the titular role. Said to be inspired by Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan's 1993 hit Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke, the show was supposed to be Harshad and Sanaya's TV comebacks after their respective shows Humsafars and Rangrasiya.

Their fans were eagerly awaiting the premiere of Meenu Mausi on Star Plus, however, it sadly got shelved after the pilot shoot. Yes, you read that right!
WHY HARSHAD CHOPDA & SANANYA IRANI'S MEENU MAUSI GOT SHELVED?
According to reports back then, the show's production was facing significant delays, leaving the channel growing increasingly impatient. Despite the team having shot the pilot, the channel expressed dissatisfaction with the chosen cast, leading the makers to ultimately drop the idea of making Meenu Mausi.
Apart from Sanaya and Harshad, the show was also supposed to feature Hiten Tejwani and Chhavi Mittal as part of the cast. Their characters would be a couple with three children. Following a tragic turn of events, Sanaya's character would step into the role of Massi (maternal aunt) for the children. Sparsh Khanchandani, Avneet Kaur, and Uzair Basar were roped in to play the kids.
While Harshad went on to play the lead roles in shows like Bepannaah and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Sananya has been away from fiction space since Rangrasiya (2014) and was seen in non-fiction shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 and Nach Baliye 8.
