Yeh Hai Chahatein Leap: THIS Actress As New Lead Opposite Pratik Sehajpal In Abrar-Sargun's Show?

Yeh Hai Chahatein Leap Update: A spin-off to Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi's hit Star Plus show Yeh Hai Chahatein has been winning hearts ever since its premiere in December 2019.

However, the show's loyal fans are currently not happy as there have been reports that Yeh Hai Chahatein is soon going to witness a generation leap after which Abrar and Sargun will be exiting the daily soap.

BIGG BOSS 16, NAAGIN 6 FAME PRATIK SEHAJPAL IN YEH HAI CHAHATEIN?

The duo hasn't reacted to the ongoing speculations, however, their co-stars have confirmed that the leap is indeed happening. Amid all this, several recent reports suggested that Bigg Boss 15 and Naagin 6 fame Pratik Sehajpal is being considered to play the new male lead after the time jump.

Reportedly, the reality TV star recently auditioned for the main part and also did a look test. He's likely to bag the role in the show.

The development left Pratik's fans excited as they've been waiting for his fiction comeback ever since his role ended in Colors TV's much-loved supernatural drama featuring Tejasswi Prakash in the titular role.

PRIYANKA PUROHIT OPPOSITE PRATIK SEHAJPAL IN YEH HAI CHAHATEIN?

While Pratik's entry in Yeh Hai Chahatein isn't yet confirmed, looks like he has got his leading lady as well. We're talking about MTV Splitsvilla 7 fame Priyanka Purohit who was last seen in SAB TV's Tera Kya Hoga Alia. Yes, you read that right!

According to an India Forums reports, Priyanka Purohit has auditioned for Yeh Hai Chahatein and might be seen opposite Pratik Sehajpal in it. She confirmed auditioning for the show and told the portal, "Well, I did give an audition for the show but haven't received a confirmation yet."

Well, the official confirmation is still awaited.

Coming back to Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi, they initially played the lead roles of Preesha and Rudraksh respectively in YHC and became household names. Last year, the makers introduced a 20-year leap after which the lead stars started playing new characters of Nayanthara and Samrat.

However, the leap failed to fetch the desired response and the team is planning for a generation leap now.
