Today, we're going to talk about Anshul Pandey and Priyanka Udhwani who played pivotal roles in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai when the show revolved around the first generation of Akshara and Naitik. For those who are unaware, the duo essayed the roles of Naman and Karishma respectively, Naitik's step-brother and his wife.

Interestingly, they fell in love while shooting for the hit show in 2014 and were going strong till 2021 and they announced their ugly breakup after a togetherness of seven years. Back then, Priyanka had accused Anshul of cheating and infidelity. However, two years after going separate ways, the ex-lovers are back together and have decided to give their relationship another chance. Yes, you read that right!

ANSHUL-PRIYANKA ON HOW THEIR REUNION HAPPENED

Confirming the same, Priyanka told ETimes, "We acted impulsively and allowed ourselves, particularly me, to be swayed by the wrong influences. I was led to believe something about him that was not true, and instead of trusting him, I trusted those I shouldn't have. We didn't speak for a few months before deciding to put our differences aside and re-establish a friendship."

She added, "Anshul and I took our time to be certain about our relationship before deciding to give it another chance. We officially started dating four months ago. The time when we stopped talking to each other made us understand each other's value in our life."

Anshul, on the other hand, states that their commitment to this relationship is very strong. The couple is not rushing to progress to the next level; instead, they're approaching it day by day.
