The talented star recently wrapped up his shoot as an antagonist for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which airs on Star Plus and is now looking forward to playing a film star in his web series Johri, starring Charu Asopa and Nishant Malkani.

Talking exclusively to Filmibeat, Mukund Kapahi opened up about his exit from YRKKH and stated, "I enjoyed my small but interesting role of an antagonist in Yeh Rishta. It was an amazing time while Shooting with producer Rajan Shahi and his team. I wrapped up my shoots for the show but in coming future, I would love to work with Mr. Shahi again. I wish to become part of his popular show Anupamaa, as my mother follows that family drama."

Also seen in Tejasswi Prakash's Naagin 6, the actor will now feature in the web series Johri. Sharing about his new role he added, "I'm excited to play an award-winning actor in the series. It is a completely fresh role and I haven't essayed something like this before. I'm thankful to enjoy the opportunity to act under acclaimed director Partho Mitra. This will for sure help me grow in my acting career."
