Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Update: TV star Jay Soni joined Harshad Chopda and pranali Rathod starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai at the beginning of the year as Abhinav, the new guy in Akshara's life. Since then, the actor has been geting rave reviews for his performance in the superhit show produced by Rajan Shahi.

From the past few months there were constant speculations around Jay's exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Well, Rajan Shahi recently confirmed the same and praised the actor for his valuable contribution to the long-running family drama.

JAY SONI ON HIS EXIT FROM YRKKH AND FUTURE PLANS

In a recent interview, Jay Soni himself confirmed his exit from YRKKH and claimed that it's the right time to move on from the show. He feels grateful for being a part of such a big show and fetching amazing response from the loyal viewers. The actor is also happy that his character is coming to an end before it turns negative.

In the same interview, Jay Soni also opened up about his plans post exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and reveled that he won't take up any role just for the heck of it. Yes, you read that right!

Talking about his future plans, the actor told ETimes, "Next, I want to take up a show not for the sake of working but something that people will remember me for."

HOW ABHINAV'S CHARACTER WILL END IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI?

As per the ongoing reports, Abhinav will die in the upcoming episodes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. His death will prove to be a turning point in Akshara's life. Interestingly, Abhimanyu might turn out to be the reason behind Abhinav's sudden demise. However, not much details are yet out related to the death track.

However, we're pretty sure that the loyal viewers are surely going to miss Jay Soni as Abhinav in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
