The hike in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai ratings only means that the viewers have finally accepted the new leads and storyline. At an event recently, Samridhi Shukla interacted with the media and opened up about the long-running family drama witnessing a TRP jump.

Sharing her happiness, Samridhi Shukla stated, "Star Plus mei kaam karna chahti thi mai and hopefully iss baar wo ho saka. Generation 4, thoda pressure tha but dheere-dheere karke I'm happy that Abhira's character is growing on people and acha lag raha hai. Yahi chahiye tha bas, thoda sa pyar chahiye tha."

Talking about the jump in TRP ratings, the actress added, "Definitely acha lag raha hai, sabko pyaar chahiye hota hai."

The current track of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai revolves around Armaan trying the knot with Abhira to fulfill Akshara's last wish. However, his family members aren't happy with their marriage and Armaan's ex-lover Ruhi, now married to his brother, is trying to get his attention.
