NEW LEADS OF YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI

As reported earlier, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod are confirmed to exit Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai due to the leap and the duo will be replaced by Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami as new protagonists. While AbhiRa fans are not happy with their exit, most of the cast members, except the Goenka family, will bid adieu to the long-running show.

Karishma Sawant, who essays the role of Aarohi in the superhit family show, has also put her papers down as her character is going to die before the impending generation leap. The loyal viewers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai must be aware that the storyline of the third generation of YRKKH started as a love triangle between Abhimanyu, Akshara, and Aarohi.

In the past two years, Karishma's character has gone through many changes. In a recent interview, the actress was asked if she feels that he character got sidelined in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

KARISHMA SAWANT ON HER EXIT AND CHARACTER

Reacting to it, the actress told India Forums, "No, absolutely not. After the last generation leap on the show, my character was still prominently featured in the main montage with Abhimanyu and Akshara. The story post-leap also revolved around Ruhi, Abhimanyu, and me. However, it's essential to understand that the story eventually centers around the lead pair. I believe that's okay. I'm grateful to DKP for giving me the opportunity to play Aarohi. They provided me with a lot of material to work with as an actor. I enjoyed the single mother track. My character's journey had a beautiful start and end, and I'm grateful for it."

Well, YRKKH fans are surely going to miss the third generation. Don't you agree? Share your views in the comments section below.
