Yes, you read that right! According to Abp News' Saas Bahu Aur Saazish, the talented actress has been approached for an upcoming show on Sony TV.

For those who are unaware, the makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have signed Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Shami to essay new protagonists Abhira and Armaan respectively after the generation leap. Anita Raj, Shruti Ulfat, Rishabh Jaiswal, and Preeti Amin among other known names will be seen essaying pivotal roles in the long-running family drama after the impending jump.

The new season of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is scheduled to start from November 6 with Samridhii Shukla essaying the role of Akshara and Abhinav's daughter Abhira. Now, it'll be interesting to see if the new generation will succeed in making a mark or not.
