However, a big update related to the actor's exit is out now. The latest buzz suggests Abhimanyu is likely to die in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai before the leap.

Reportedly, Abhir's character will die along with Abhimanyu. Yes, you read that right! As per an India Forums report, "The makers have meticulously planned a fitting departure for Abhimanyu. Abhir's character will also exit the show. The storyline will take a dramatic turn as Abhimanyu and Abhir are involved in a fatal car accident, leading to their demise."

So far, Harshad-Pranali or the makers have yet to react to the ongoing speculations related to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

NEW LEADS OF YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI

As reported earlier, Fahmaan Khan is said to be in talks to essay the male lead in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after the leap. Reacting to it in a recent interview, the Dharampatnii star said, "Mujhe iske baare mei kuch pata hi nahi hai, honestly bata raha hu aapko. Maine kya kiya hai, jaise hi maine Dharampatnii khatam kiya, maine music video pe kaam karna shuru kar diya tha. Toh pura mera dhyaan isi pe hai aur mere manager ko bhi ye pata hai ki iska pura dhyaan waha pe hai, isko disturb nahi karta hun."
